Abstract

Jürgen Habermas revisits the structural transformation of the public sphere more than six decades after the publication of his most successful book. Digitalization and consequent media platformization lead him to fear for the future of the processes of public opinion formation and political will and to propose the regulation of digital media to ensure the continuity of a political public sphere and democracy.
