Abstract

This essay outlines some aspects of modernity from mediasphere images. We face it like a draft that sets an image of today’s world, a wide world about which we know only a part, albeit enlarged, even global. We will try to understand how it expresses, it materializes, blunts and flows, builds and destroys itself, while densifying its features. From the resulting image we should not expect more than what it can offer, knowing it is an image hard to designate and set on a screen. But this is the very nature of the visual environment in which we are immersed: full of scattered, changing and fleeting, always blurred images. And yet images.
