Objectives and Aim
Comunicação Pública is a thematic journal in the field of Communication. The term Comunicação Pública (Public Communication) aims to include different communication contexts (interpersonal, group, organizational, community, and social), as well as different geopolitical arenas (local, regional, national, and international). It also aims to encompass the various professional and organized activities that deliver all types of messages to different audiences.
The journal publishes original manuscripts that offer a significant contribution to the research in the field of Communication Sciences, as well as to the empirical and applied knowledge of communication, regardless of its object and/or methodological approach. In this context, the journal has the greatest interest on research within the areas of Audiovisual and Multimedia, Journalism, Advertising and Marketing, Public Relations, and Organizational Communication.
Comunicação Pública does not privilege any scientific domain or theoretical model, as long as the research offers a contribution to the development, understanding and construction of a theorical approach to human communication. Considering the study of the phenomenon of human communication, the journal also accepts contributions within the fields of anthropology, sociology, psychology, economics, philosophy, artistic studies, political science, mathematics and statistics, information technology and cybernetics, linguistics, as well as neurophilosophy and neuropsychology.
Any contents and ideas in the published manuscripts are the exclusive responsibility of its authors, not binding nor necessarily corresponding to the position of the editorial team of Comunicação Pública, regarding the topics covered.
