Abstract

The characteristics of the podcast format make it appealing for integration in various areas, namely in educational contexts, either as a complementary support to teaching or as an object of production itself. An interview podcast is presented, as an extracurricular project developed in the context of higher education, with the mission of providing a training space for Communication students. From participant observation and the application of a questionnaire, a global analysis of the project is made, considering the students' perceptions about the development of their technical, professional, communicational, cultural and relational skills. The data shows that this development is positively related to a pedagogical exploration of the podcast, confirming the training potentialities associated with digital technology.
