Abstract

It is now commonly accepted that Public Relations play a social development and integration role in the society, which enables organizations to develop to their self-knowledge, their ability to adapt to the environment and promote the negotiation / cooperation between different groups, promoting social and economic development of the community as a whole. Thus, it is argued in this article the need to develop cooperation projects between civil society organizations and private actors, in order to achieve the Millennium Development Goals in Lusophone speaking countries. In this paper it is proposed a methodology to build sustainable, hybrid projects involving the various actors of development, with special focus on NGOs and private sector companies, pointing the role and responsibility of Public Relations.
