Abstract

The introduction of the internet into newsrooms in the mid-1990s propelled profound transformations in how content is produced and consumed. Within this new ecosystem, multimedia languages certainly present the most vibrant challenges. However, how have these resources shaped journalistic practice? This is the question that accompanies "Multimedia reporting: How digital tools can improve journalism storytelling," by Richard Scott Dunham. The book's starting point, revealing its pedagogical bias, is the author's lectures as a visiting professor at the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing.
