a evolução do Mockumentary

O presente artigo explora a evolução do género mockumentary, partindo de uma análise histórica com foco em obras e peças de media que marcaram e edificaram o género, levando à construção do seu próprio discurso. Num momento em que se recorre à comédia como um escape da realidade, é de notar como a mesma recorre, cada vez mais, ao real para articular o humor e efetivar a comunicação com a audiência. O mockumentary afirma-se gradualmente como um formato ubíquo no panorama mediático, e a sua gama de variantes expande-se, ampliando aquilo que podemos englobar no conceito. Na televisão, a comédia mockumentary assumiu-se como a forma dominante, e, na internet, os web mockumentaries ampliaram a extensão e o envolvimento do público nas narrativas. Atualmente a sátira digital, alicerçada em tecnologias digitais emergentes, com a utilização de inteligência artificial, de que destacamos o deepfake, e na crescente atomização dos conteúdos das redes sociais, apresenta-se como o novo campo de expansão de tensão entre realidade e representação da realidade que desde sempre carateriza o mockumentary.
