Posicionamento digital das Unidades de Saúde Pública em Portugal Continental em 2019

O crescimento de utilizadores da Internet e das redes sociais obrigou muitas instituições do setor da saúde a utilizar estes canais de comunicação para uma aproximação aos doentes. Em Portugal, é responsabilidade das Unidades de Saúde Pública (USP), unidades funcionais dos Agrupamentos de Centros de Saúde, a gestão de programas de intervenção no âmbito da prevenção, promoção e proteção da saúde da população. Com este trabalho pretendeu-se identificar e analisar a presença online das USP, em Portugal Continental, nomeadamente a utilização de websites e redes sociais, como o Facebook, para o cumprimento das suas responsabilidades. Entre as 55 Unidades de Saúde Públicas analisadas, apenas em 15 (27,3%) foram identificados websites específicos, e em apenas três (5,4%) se observou a presença no Facebook.
